Blenheim Manor’s eight new studio units are designed for independent seniors who are seeking private space that comes with the convenience of home cooked meals and housekeeping at a moderate price. Each Blenheim Manor unit is a private suite with a bedroom area and day living space as well as a kitchenette, bathroom and closet.
Convenient Location, Modern Facilities, Tasty Meals
Residents at Blenheim Manor share a clean modern dining area where meals are served buffet style. Examples of meals served are: roast beef, baked ham, coconut-curried chicken and breaded sole fillets.
There is a bus stop on the 16th Avenue bus route outside and shopping nearby at Dunbar, Broadway and Arbutus.

- Is there an age limit?
Yes. Blenheim Manor suites are available to those 65 and over. There is no upper limit if you’re healthy enough to live on your own. - Can I do my own laundry?
Yes. There is a free laundry room for personal laundry. Linens are changed and laundered weekly by housekeeping. - Can I invite friends and family for meals?
Yes, with some notice time if guests would like a prepared meal. - Is there a bus stop nearby?
There is a bus stop on the 16th Avenue bus route right outside Blenheim Manor. - Is there shopping close by?
Yes. There is a corner store across the street, a strip-mall a few blocks away. West Broadway shops are close by. - Can I make my own meals?
Yes. There is a microwave and fridge in each suite, but you’ll want to enjoy the delicious meals that are made by our excellent cooks. There is also a full common kitchen for your baking/cooking passion and for special occasions. - How much does Blenheim Manor cost?
Cost varies per suite size, starting at a very affordable $1,750 per month. All costs include 3 meals per day and light housekeeping. Only cost not included is for phone, internet, cable. As long as you wish or until you are unable to safely and conveniently look after yourself. You must not require daily care assistance or need a wheelchair on a regular basis to live happily at Blenheim Manor. - How much notice must I give to move out?
One full calendar month - Is there room for my things?
There are built in closets in the suites plus a small storage locker space that is available. - Are there many stairs?
None! Entrance is on the ground floor. - Am I living with others?
Suites are private with locks; meals are served in the common kitchen/dining area; a lounge is available for relaxing with others. - Can I bring my TV?
Each suite is wired and ready for your flat-screen TV (max 32”) and telephone. You’ll set those up directly with your preferred cable company. - What is there to do each day?
You are welcome to sit in on the entertainers who visit the adjacent Blenheim Lodge care home, attend the Sunday chapel and mid-week Singing Fellowship. The bus outside goes along 16th Ave, so UBC, Dunbar shopping, and downtown Vancouver are never far away. - What if I miss some meals?
The meals are included in your rent. No adjustment for missed meals. - Are there any suites for two?
Yes. All suites are studio design, some are larger and can accommodate two tenants. - Is it a quiet place?
Yes. There are only 8 suites and the rest of the building is a seniors care facility. - What if I need help during the night?
You have the option to purchase your own emergency monitoring system. Or you call 911. Unfortunately, Blenheim Lodge staff cannot provide care or first aid to residents of Blenheim Manor. - Can I park my car?
Yes. There is a parking lot.
